China: Chemical Leak in Shanghai kills 15

A chemical leak of the liquid ammonia from a cold storage unit in Shanghai has resulted in the deaths of 15 people, according to reports. China's official-state run news agency Xinhua reports that around 26 people were also ill as a result of the leak, which happened at around 11.00 local time. According to the AFP news agency, local media say that the incident occurred in the city's northern district of Baoshan at a refrigeration unit owned by a seafood company, and published photographs of firefighters at the scene.
