At least 12 people have been killed after gunmen opened fire at a Washington Navy Base, and many more are injured.
The area is in lockdown after shots were fired at 08.20 local time, and dozens of armed police are at the scene.
People have been asked to stay out of the area.
One gunman was killed at the scene, and police are searching for two other possible accomplices. The two are believed to be in military-style clothing.
There is currently no known motive for the attack.
