A Canadian woman has been arrested in Columbia after trying to board a flight to Toronto with a fake-pregnancy-stomach which was stuffed with cocaine, police say. The tourist caught the attention of a policewoman at Bogota International Airport. The policewoman is said to have asked how far along the woman was, and she acted aggressively - arousing the suspicion of officers who then searched her. Deputy Director of Colombia's police anti-narcotics section, Colonel Esteban Arias Melo, said: "[The woman] didn't like the question, which made the officers suspicious. Instinctively, she [the policewoman] then touched the lady's belly, realizing it was extremely cold and too hard." The woman had allegedly said she was seven months pregnant. After performing a body search, the police found two sealed bags hidden inside the latex-stomach, which contained 2kg of cocaine. Since the beginning of this year, nearly 150 people were caught with drugs at the airport.
