Pakistan: 25 killed in bomb blast outside church

A bomb blast outside a church in the Pakistani capital of Peshawar has killed at least 25 people, medical officials say. An additional 40 people are reported to have been injured. A bomb disposal officer said two suicide bombers blew themselves up outside the place of worship for Christians when people were leaving after Sunday mass. Christians makes up about 1.6% of the Pakistani population, which is predominately Muslim. The victims are reported to include women and children. It is not yet clear who is responsible for today's attack, but Islamist militant extremists have previously been blamed for attacks on Pakistan's Christians.
