Russia: Fire sweeps psychiatric hospital - one dead, 30 missing

At least one person has died and over 30 others are missing after a fire swept through a psychiatric hospital in north-western Russia, officials say. The blaze broke out just before 03.00 local time, starting in the male ward and quickly spreading through the hospital. According to reports, the blaze may have been started by one of the patients. Officials say one nurse died trying to save the patients after the fire began to spread. More than 20 people have been evacuated from the building. The fire has now been extinguished, and rescuers are searching the nearby forest - hoping to find any survivors who may have taken refuge there.
