Boeing 777 crash lands at San Francisco Airport: two killed

A Boeing 777 aircraft operated by Asiana Airlines has crash landed at San Francisco airport with 291 passengers onboard, killing at least two people. The plane was inbound from Seoul, South Korea.  Officials said eight adults and two children who suffered critical injures are among those being treated in hospital, and that two people, thought to be of Chinese origin, have lost their lives. A Federal Aviation Administration Spokesman said the Boeing 777 crashed whilst landing on Saturday, according to the AP. A full investigation into the cause of the incident is now underway. David Eun, a passenger on the jet and the Samsung Executive, tweeted "I just crash landed at SFA. Tail ripped off. Most everyone seems fine." All flights out of the airport have been canceled. After the emergency landing on runway 28, passengers could be seen using emergency shoots to evacuate the aircraft.
