Islamic extremists have killed 29 students and one teacher in an attack on a boarding school in northeast Nigeria. According to the AP news agency, survivors are being treated for burns and gunshot wounds but many children burned alive in the attack before dawn on Saturday at a Government Secondary School in Mamudo town in Yobe state. Dozens of schools have been torched and unknown scores of students killed in attacks by extremists since 2010.
