Explosions at Florida gas plant leave 7 injured
At least seven people have been injured by a series of explosions at a gas plant in the US state of Florida, officials say. The blasts began at around 23.00, lasting about one hour - and caused a large fire. The roof of the the Blue Rhino propane plant was blown off in the explosions, and several workers were injured; the cause of the initial blast is not yet known, and officers are now investigating. Fifteen workers who had originally been un-accounted for were found safe, whilst another two managed to escape un-harmed. People living within 0.5 miles from the plant have been evacuated, a Lake County Sheriff's Office Spokesperson said, but emergency services that the fire had been contained and there was no immediate danger to them.
