Egypt crisis: death toll rises to over 500
The official death toll of attempts to remove protesters supporting deposed President Mohammed Morsi by Egypt's armed forces has risen to 525 the health ministry has announced. Over 2000 people have also been injured after the army used armoured bulldozers to clear two protest camps. Supporters of Mr Moral have vowed to fight on, with a March expected this afternoon. The armies actions have drawn condemnation from the UN, United States and the EU. Among the World leaders expressing concern was French President Francios Hollande, who urged for action "to avoid civil war" in the country.
