Indian: train kills 15 people crossing track

At least 15 people have died after being hit by an express train whilst crossing the tracks of a railway station in Bihar, according to reports. The death toll is likely to rise as dozens of other people are reported to have been injured. The people who were hit had just slighted a train at the Dhamara Ghat station and, as they were mostly Hindu pilgrims, were making their way to a nearby temple when they were hit by a express train traveling on the opposite  track as they crossed it. Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar expressed grief over the incident, and said he had ordered local officials to attend the scene.
