Edward Snowden has left Moscow Airport

Edward Snowden, the ex-US intelligence analyst, has left Moscow airport and has been given one years temporary asylum in Russia. According to reports, the whistle-blower who leaked details of secret US surveillance operations,  has now left the airport where he has been for the past five and a half weeks after receiving the correct papers his lawyer has said. He is said to have received one year temporary asylum in the country. An airport spokesperson has said that Mr Snowden left the site within the last two hours. His current location or destination is not known.
