Part of Central London Theatre collapses: London Ambulance Service reports 80 casualties


Part of the Apollo Theatre, Central London, is believed to have collapsed resulting in a "number of casualties". 

Fire crews have attended the scene of the incident, after part of the theatre's balcony is thought to have collapsed. 


The London Ambulance service says that there are around 80 casualties including walking wounded after the incident. 

The theatre was packed with people watching a performance of "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the night-time" when part of the building is thought to have collapsed. 

People in the theatre have described the scene as chaos, with people screaming and being injured.
