A funeral has been held for the victims of a bus crash near the Southern Italian town of Pozzuli, which claimed the lives of 38 people. Italian Prime Minister Enrico Letta was among 4,000 people at the service, which was held in a sports hall, and other attendees included the family and friends of those killed. The Bishop of Pozzulio led the service, and also urged authorities to clarify the causes of the accident; saying "We must ensure this never happens again", also appealing for support for the bereaved families. Before the emotional ceremony began, relatives of the deceased wept and clutched the coffins, which were positioned in rows, and placed flowers, photographs and other memorabilia on top. Investigators are still trying to identify the cause of the Sunday's coach crash, and will investigate the drivers role as well as the condition of the bust itself and the crash barriers along the side of the viaduct - of which the bus plunged off.
